& Sticking Together SE17

During September – December 2016,Just Jones & is collaborating with independent artist Deborah Mason on a visual art project commissioned by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Inquiry into the Civic Role of Arts Organisations and What Next?
The project is a mash up of collage and conversation involving residents past, present and future of the Aylesbury Estate in SE17. This iconic estate has been the centre of a controversy about regeneration since 1997. Our concern is with the people who live there, did live there and will there, and all the people around them whose lives will be impacted in each and every which way by the changes. The work we are making invites those people to consider what their manifesto for civic life would be through conversations and creating a giant collage for exhibition on the estate in November. See the project  on our blog here.  Follow us on Twitter @StickTogSE17
